2023 Retreat Schedule
Return to the 2023 Retreat homepage
Our schedule is designed to allow participants to build meaningful relationships, learn from experienced business leaders, and take time out from their regular routines to reflect on the implications of the beauty of God, and of God's creation, for our work.
Running throughout the retreat will be our Prayer Zone, where you can pray confidentially with fellow participants.
Watch this short video to understand what you can expect, with more detail below:
Friday 28 April
From 10.30 am: Participants will gather at Westminster College in Cambridge for registration and informal networking. We will be introduced to the retreat theme - Beauty at Work - and join together in worship, followed by lunch.
From 1.30 pm: Our retreat journey continues with a mixture of gathered worship, short talks, and panel discussions.
From 3.00 pm: Time for personal reflection, either in or around the college, or further field in Cambridge.
From 5.00 pm: We gather again for our third session.
6. 30 pm: Dinner - a great opportunity to discuss with other participants what has impacted you so far. The evening concludes with a café-style musical event inspired by beautiful music and beautiful theology. It will be led by our worship leaders and professional musicians, Geraldine Latty and Carey Luce, who teach theology and music at the London School of Theology.
Saturday 29 April
From 9.00 am: We start the day in worship and then continue to explore our theme through a combination of talks, panels, and discussion. There will also be a time for personal reflection, to allow participants to listen to God, before we break for lunch.
From 2.30 pm: We regather to share our learning and experiences. The retreat reaches it climax with Holy Communion in the Chapel. It will include special biblical reflections by two leading female business leaders.
