Did you know that in places the bible portrays God as an investor?
Right at the start of the Old Testament we find that human beings are only one part of God's creation. Yet we also discover there that it is only in that part of creation that he has invested his image. And in the commission he gives to those humans, it is clear that this investor seeks a return.

When we turn to the New Testament, we find a story known as the Parable of the Talents. There God is also pictured as an investor, and one that also seeks a return.
What does this mean for us as we invest our time, our skills, our relationships and our money in our daily work and in our businesses?
In 2022, we are exploring the theme of investment, in our journal Faith in Business Quarterly (co-published with the Industrial Christian Fellowship) in our weekly God on Monday reflections (co-published with the Church of England), and at our online seminar Faith in Business Monthly.
We now wish to invite you to participate in the Faith in Business 2022 Cambridge Leadership Retreat (co-hosted with the Global Leadership Network), entitled God's Investment and Ours.
